General provisions
1.1 The organizer of the competition is Hulaj.market, located at Leona Wyczółkowskiego 79, 65-140 Zielona Góra, Poland.
1.2 Participation in the competition is open to adults who meet the requirements specified in these regulations. By participating in the competition, participants accept the provisions of these regulations.
1.3 The competition aims to promote the passion for electric unicycles (EUC) and encourage participants to creatively express themselves through images, promoting the idea of a safe means of transportation.
1.4 The main theme of the competition is "Chillout with EUC". Participants are tasked with presenting their interpretations of the theme through photographs.
1.5 The competition is open to both amateurs and professional photographers who meet the participation requirements specified in section 2 of the regulations.
1.6 The competition is open to all countries where active sales are conducted through the hulaj.market website.
1.7 The organizer reserves the right to verify the participants' data to confirm their eligibility to participate in the competition.
1.8 These regulations define the conditions of participation, rules of conducting the competition, awarding prizes, and other important aspects of the competition.
1.9 The organizer reserves the right to change these regulations at any time. Any changes will be announced on the competition's website and will not adversely affect the participants' rights. Participants are responsible for regularly checking the information related to the competition.
1.10 In case of any disputes related to the competition, the organizer's decisions are final and not subject to further discussion.
1.11 The organizer is not responsible for any technical problems, equipment failures, or improper functioning of the platform that may affect the course of the competition.
1.12 Participation in the competition is voluntary, and each participant takes part at their own risk.
Terms used in the regulations
2.1 Organizer - a legal entity responsible for organizing and conducting the photography competition.
2.2 Participant - a person who meets the participation requirements specified in section 3 of the regulations and submits their photographic works to the competition.
2.3 Submission - a photograph submitted by a participant that meets the requirements specified in section 5 of the regulations.
2.4 Jury - individuals designated by the organizer to evaluate the qualified works.
2.5 Social media - refers to the social media platform Instagram, which allows sharing, commenting, liking, and interacting with photographic content.
Requirements for photographs
3.1 Format of submissions: Photographs in JPEG and RAW file formats are accepted.
3.2 Resolution: Photographs should be presented in a minimum resolution of 2560x1920 pixels (5 MP) to ensure proper image quality. Submissions with lower resolution may be rejected. Participants are responsible for providing photographs that meet the minimum resolution requirements.
3.3 Number of submissions: Participants can submit any number of entries.
3.4 Originality: All submitted photographs must be original works created by the participants, not plagiarized or infringing upon the copyrights of others.
3.5 Exclusion of participation by persons related to or employed by the organizer
5.3.a. Persons related to or employed by the competition organizer, as well as their immediate relatives (such as spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings), are excluded from participating in the competition.
5.3.b. In the event that a participant is identified as a person related to or employed by the organizer after the start of the competition, their submissions will be automatically disqualified.
Submission process
4.1 Submission deadline: The competition will consider photos published from July 1, 2023, at 00:01, to July 31, 2023, at 20:00. Photos meeting the following requirements will be eligible for the competition.
4.2 Submission method: To participate in the competition, participants must publish their photos on their public accounts on the social media platform Instagram.
4.3 Organizer's mention: Participants are required to mention the official account of the Competition's organizer in their published posts. The organizer's mention should be visible and accurate to allow for participant identification and entry into the competition. If necessary, the organizer will provide the official mention to participants.

4.4 Hashtag: Participants should use a specific hashtag in their published posts to enter the competition. The hashtag will be provided by the organizer along with the competition information. Participants are required to use the hashtag correctly in their submissions.

4.5 Account privacy: Participants must ensure that their Instagram account is public during the competition period so that the organizer can review and consider the submissions. Private accounts may result in the submission not being considered.
Evaluation criteria
5.1 Artistic value: Photos will be evaluated based on technical skills, composition, creativity, and visual impact.
5.2 Theme compliance: Photos will be evaluated on how well they fit the theme "Chillout with EUC" and portray the electric unicycle in the context of relaxation and leisure.
5.3 Originality: Weight will be given to unique and innovative approaches to the competition theme.
5.4 Social media impact on the competition: Participation on social media, such as the number of likes, shares, or comments, may influence the competition results or decisions made by the organizer. However, the final decision regarding awards and winners will be made by the judging panel, not solely based on social media popularity.
Judging panel
6.1 The evaluation of submissions will be conducted by a panel appointed by the competition organizer. The panel will consist of representatives from Hulaj.market and Nylonove.
6.2 The judging panel's work is confidential, and their decisions are final. The panel will evaluate submissions based on the criteria established in section 5.
6.3 In case of being unable to contact one of the winners to confirm the prize, the competition organizer reserves the right to select an additional winner based on the panel's evaluation.
6.4 Members of the judging panel are independent and cannot participate in the competition.
6.5 The judging panel will operate in an objective and fair manner, ensuring equal opportunities for all participants.
6.6 The results of the judging panel's evaluation will be announced within a specified timeframe by the competition organizer, according to the schedule set in the regulations.
Copyright and usage rights
7.1 Ownership: Participants retain full rights to their submitted photographs. The competition organizer does not acquire any copyright to the submitted photos. Participants agree to allow their photos to be shared within the competition and for promotional purposes related to the competition. The competition organizer commits to properly crediting the authors of the photos if they are used for promotional purposes.
7.2 Usage rights: Participants grant the competition organizer an unrestricted, irrevocable, and royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute the submitted photographs for promotional purposes related to the competition, including publication on websites, social media, promotional materials, exhibitions, and other promotional materials. The competition organizers commit to crediting the authors of the photos when used for promotional purposes.
Awards
8.1 The awards of the competition include:
8.1.a. Kinetics Pads 2.0 product
8.1.b. Nylonove product
8.1.c. A discount code worth 200 PLN to be used in the organizer's store.
8.2 The awards are not assigned to specific positions in the competition. The participant in first place has the opportunity to choose a prize from the 3 available. The participant in second place can choose a prize from the remaining 2, and the participant in last place will receive the remaining prize.
8.3 The awards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other prizes, money, or rights.
8.4 The competition organizer reserves the right to change the awards before announcing the competition results if circumstances require it. In such a case, the organizer undertakes to provide an equivalent value of awards.
8.5 The final decision regarding the awarding of prizes rests with the competition organizer and is irrevocable.
8.6 The prizes will be given to the winners within a specified timeframe and according to the procedure established by the competition organizer. Winners may be asked to provide contact information and other necessary details for prize delivery.
8.7 If any of the participants do not respond within a specified time after the announcement of the competition results or refuse to accept the prize, the organizer may award the prize to the next participant in line according to the established order.
8.8 The competition organizer is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use or related to the prizes.
8.9 All taxes, fees, and costs associated with the prizes are entirely the responsibility of the winners, excluding the shipping cost of the prizes, which the organizer commits to cover.
Notifications and Publication
9.1 The announcement of the winners will take place by August 1, 2023, at 22:00 GMT+1 (Polish time). Information about the winning photographs and the competition results will be published on the Hulaj.market fan page and on social media.
9.2 Immediately after announcing the results, the organizer undertakes to establish contact with the winners through social media and determine the prize according to the method described in section 8.2.
Disqualification
10.1 The competition organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants in the event of a violation of the competition rules. Actions that may lead to disqualification include, but are not limited to:
10.1.a. Submitting inappropriate, offensive, vulgar, or illegal content.
10.1.b. Infringing on copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.
10.1.c. Engaging in fraudulent activities, such as result manipulation, false submissions, or unfair practices aimed at gaining an unfair advantage.
10.1.d. Not complying with the competition guidelines or attempting to influence the course of the competition in a manner contrary to fair play principles.
10.1.e. Misleading the organizers or providing false information.
10.2 The decision to disqualify is final and rests with the competition organizers. Disqualification may result in the removal of the participant from the competition, invalidation of the prize, or other sanctions specified in the competition rules.
Compliance with the Law
11.1 Participants are required to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations regarding photography and participation in competitions. The competition organizer is not liable for any violations of the law committed by the participants and reserves the right to take appropriate action in the event of such violations.
11.2 Participants are solely responsible for ensuring the compliance of their works with copyright law, the rights of third parties, the right to privacy, and other rights applicable to their jurisdiction.
11.3 The organizer reserves the right to take appropriate action in case of a participant's violation of the law, such as disqualifying the participant, removing the submission, or initiating legal proceedings.
11.4 Participants declare that they have the necessary rights to the submitted photographs, including copyright and the consent of individuals depicted in the photos. Participants agree to provide the organizer with any necessary documents confirming the possession of these rights upon request.
11.5 Participants are responsible for any claims by third parties arising from the violation of copyright, privacy rights, or other rights related to their submitted photographs. Participants agree to release the organizer from any claims and obligations in this regard.
11.6 The organizer may require participants to sign a statement confirming the legality of their submissions and waiving any claims against the organizer related to the infringement of third-party rights.
Modifications and Termination
12.1 The competition organizer reserves the right to modify the competition rules if necessary. Any changes will be announced publicly and will not adversely affect the participants' rights. The organizer also reserves the right to terminate or cancel the competition for valid reasons, such as technical issues, violation of the rules by participants, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of termination or cancellation of the competition, the organizer will take appropriate steps to inform the participants and minimize any potential negative consequences.
Liability
13.1 Participation in the competition is at the participant's own risk. The competition organizers, as well as their employees, agents, and representatives, will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury, both physical and material, incurred by participants during or as a result of their participation in the competition. Participants bear full responsibility for their actions and accept the risks associated with participating in the competition.
13.2 By tagging the published photo with the hashtag #CHILLWITHEUC, the participant declares that they have read and fully accept the terms and conditions.
