A rubber pad makes it possible to compensate for the play of the steering wheel folding mechanism in the Xiaomi MiJia M365 electric scooter.

Unlike most of the washers available for 3D printing, our washers are designed to be placed under the hook retention bolt. This way, there is no risk of losing the scooter when moving the folded handlebar.

Please note that it is not recommended to cancel the steering play completely, as this causes high stress on the abutment of the mechanism. The hitch should be adjusted in such a way that there is a slight play on the steering wheel.

The use of rubber pads also prevents metal parts of the steering column from hitting each other, which prevents their damage and mutes the whole folding mechanism of the steering wheel while driving.

There are 4 sizes of washers:

  • 0.4 mm (recommended for new scooters, with a small mileage),
  • 0.6 mm (recommended for scooters with noticeable looseness in the hinge, which can not be removed by adjusting),
  • 0.8 mm (recommended for scooters "after crossing", with a large clearance in the hinge),
  • 1 mm (recommended for scooters "after large passes", with very large clearance)
